Cultiva Project
Cunucyacu, Ecuador

We have built 18 green houses in Cunucyacu, an indigenous community that faces food insecurity along with chronic child malnutrition and poverty. As for now the project has benefit 356 children. Our next target is to build a total of 130 solar green houses that will benefit up to 2572 kids in the Chimborazo region - it is the leading region with malnutrition in kids in the whole South America.

Once hunger is not anymore the main problem, the next phase of the project is to start promoting commerce and support a fear supply chain system so they can afford other challenges such as poverty. For this, we have created “FARMSPACE” a place where this products will be sold to the end user. We believe this is a long-term sustainable project that will enhance the hope in eliminating hunger and poverty in the region.

Picture this: happy, healthy kids, families growing their own dinner, and a community that's solid and ready for whatever comes their way. That's the dream, and Cultiva is making it happen, one seed at a time.
